Located in North Central Ohio, Hedstrom Plastics is an ISO 9001:2000 certified custom manufacturer of rotational molded products for sports and exercise equipment, lawn and garden, recreation and playground, marine, pool and spa, automotive, transportation, medical and hospital, food processing, retail display, agriculture, industrial and commercial markets. Materials include low density, high density and cross-link polyethylenes, PVC plastisols. Polypropylene, nylons and thermoplastic urethanes. Capabilities include project management with design and development engineering services and CAD programs. Assembly services, including trimming, drilling, router work, spin weld fittings, threaded inserts, in-mold labeling, product assembly and packaging. 90,000 square foot facility equipped with 11 rotational molding machines, 5-axis CNC twin table routers, liquid and dry color blending equipment, in-house mold maintenance, polyurethane foam filling capabilities, plastic pellct pulverizing, 150,000 pound polyethylene storage system and PVC plastisol compounding and storage systems.
